Join Kamila Hyman at Rohan Village for a unique sewing workshop that combines creativity and sustainability. Learn or sharpen your sewing skills while helping us up-cycle fabrics we either salvaged or were donated, to create cushions, pillows, curtains and other items we need in the village. This workshop is perfect for those who want to learn a new skill, be creative while contributing to a more sustainable future for SXM. Come and be part of a unique and fulfilling experience IMPORTANT: We only have 3 sewing machines available, so if you have your own, we encourage you to bring it to class. PRICE: All our workshops are free, we however request a $10 booking fee, which will be returned to you at the workshop. Tipping our instructors is optional, but it does help them with any materials they used for the class and it is also additional motivation for them to schedule more courses :) You also have other ways of giving back by volunteering or donating materials or funds.
